Vacation/PTO
For the year, the fellow will have 20 workdays (Monday-Friday) for vacation, plus the Saturday/Sunday adjacent to that week.
Conference Attendance
The fellow will be given a yearly CME allowance to cover the costs associated with conference attendance (this includes travel, lodging, and meals). If presenting a scholarly activity at a national conference, the fellowship program may also reimburse the fellow for that attendance.
Wilderness Medicine Elective
Our goal for this elective is to provide the fellow with outdoor medical skills for adventure sports not often covered in the average sports medicine fellowship. We believe such skills will be a valuable addition to sports medicine coverage no matter the sport or location. The fellowship program will cover the tuition costs associated with the four-week program of the fellow’s choosing (room and board provided).
Uniforms
The fellowship provides:
- One white lab coat is provided with name embroidered
- One branded track jacket
- One branded polo
Sideline Bag/Gear
The fellow will be given a stocked sideline medical bag, and weather gear for coverage of sporting/mass participation events.
Textbooks
Netters Sports Medicine and Jacobsen’s MSK Ultrasound texts are provided as is an up-to-date subscription.
