Katherine “Kathi” Edrington serves as president and chief executive officer at Adena Health, leading the
organization’s strategic, operational, and clinical vision across a nine-county region in south central
and southern Ohio. She assumed the role on October 1, 2025, bringing a deep commitment to advancing
access to high-quality, sustainable health care for the communities Adena serves.
Kathi joined Adena in 2017 and previously served as chief operating officer, where she led significant
system-wide initiatives resulting in strong operational, financial, and clinical performance. During her
tenure, Adena achieved major milestones, including a 56% increase in net patient revenue and the
successful execution of more than $190 million in capital investments supporting hospital expansion,
ambulatory growth, and infrastructure modernization.
Prior to Adena, Kathi spent more than 20 years with Mercy Health in Cincinnati, advancing from bedside
nursing to executive leadership. Her experience includes serving as vice president of nursing for the
East Market and site administrator for Mercy Anderson and Clermont Hospitals, where she oversaw large,
multi-site operations and led award-winning quality, safety, and performance improvement initiatives.
Kathi holds a Doctor of Nursing Practice in Executive Leadership from the University of San Francisco, a
Master of Business Administration from the University of Phoenix, and a Master of Science in Nurse
Executive Leadership from Northern Kentucky University. She is a Fellow of the American College of
Healthcare Executives and previously served for more than a decade as an adjunct professor at Xavier
University, teaching graduate-level courses in health care leadership, informatics, and patient safety.

Craig Babbitt serves as chief legal officer at Adena Health, bringing more than 30 years of experience in
health care and corporate law. He joined the organization in December 2019 and provides legal counsel
and strategic guidance across the health system.
Prior to joining Adena, Craig served as senior vice president and general counsel of Affinity Health
Alliance in Elkton, Maryland. Earlier in his career, he spent more than 15 years at Akron General Health
System, where he held a series of leadership roles culminating in executive vice president. He began his
legal career as an associate in the litigation practice at Roderick, Myers & Linton.
Craig earned his Juris Doctor from Northwestern University Pritzker School of Law and holds a Bachelor
of Arts degree from the University of New Hampshire.

Chief Integrity and Compliance Officer
Kristin Boggs serves as chief integrity and compliance officer at Adena Health, providing enterprise
leadership for compliance, privacy, information security, graduate medical education, and post-acute
service lines, including home health, hospice, and durable medical equipment.
With more than 20 years of progressive health care leadership experience, Kristin has held senior
executive roles within complex health systems, including Mercy Health and Cincinnati Children’s Hospital
Medical Center. Her background spans quality and patient safety, regulatory readiness, accreditation,
clinical informatics, risk management, and governance. She is widely recognized for translating complex
regulatory, legal, and technical requirements into practical, sustainable strategies for boards,
physicians, and frontline teams.
Kristin brings a unique interdisciplinary perspective as a registered nurse, attorney, informaticist,
and cybersecurity professional. She holds a Juris Doctor, a Master of Science in Health Informatics, and
a Master of Science in Cybersecurity. She is Certified in Healthcare Compliance and Healthcare Privacy
Compliance, maintains active RN licensure, and is admitted to the Ohio Bar.

Brooke Burns serves as president of Adena Medical Group, bringing more than 20 years of outpatient health
care experience, including 15 years in medical group leadership. She is deeply committed to building
strong physician and advanced practice provider partnerships while driving strategic growth and
operational excellence.
Throughout her career, Brooke has led large-scale initiatives involving practice transformation,
acquisitions, and performance improvement. Prior to her current role, she held multiple leadership
positions at Adena Health, including executive vice president of Adena Medical Group, director of the
Adena Cancer Center, and primary care and urgent care service line director. She also previously served
as chief operating officer at Orthopedic One before returning to Adena.
Brooke began her career as a registered dental hygienist and later founded a successful health care
consulting firm in Columbus. She earned graduate degrees in Healthcare Administration and Business
Administration from The Ohio State University.

Laura Guido serves as chief strategy officer at Adena Health, where she leads enterprise strategy,
marketing and communications, brand and digital engagement, physician and employer relations, community
health, and external affairs.
With more than 25 years of health care strategy and marketing experience, Laura has led large-scale
growth and transformation initiatives across complex, multi-market health systems. Prior to joining
Adena, she spent 16 years at UPMC, where she held progressive leadership roles supporting domestic and
international operations across Europe and Asia.
Laura holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in communications from Pennsylvania Western University –
Clarion. She is a member of the Society for Healthcare Strategy and Market Development and the American
College of Healthcare Executives and is a frequent presenter at national and international forums.

Chief Nursing and Quality Executive
Megan Isley serves as chief nursing and quality executive at Adena Health, where she leads nursing
practice, clinical excellence, patient experience, and quality and safety initiatives across the
organization. A seasoned nurse executive, she is known for advancing high-reliability care models and
strengthening workforce engagement to improve patient outcomes.
Megan brings more than 20 years of leadership experience across nationally recognized health systems.
Prior to joining Adena, she served as vice president and chief nursing officer at Riley Children’s
Health at Indiana University Health, where she co-led the opening of the Riley Maternity Tower, a Level
IV maternity center, stabilized nursing recruitment and retention, and supported the organization’s
fifth Magnet designation. Her earlier leadership experience includes roles at Cincinnati Children’s
Hospital Medical Center, Nationwide Children’s Hospital, and Duke University Health System.
She holds a Doctor of Nursing Practice and Master of Science in Nursing from Duke University, as well as
a Master of Business Administration and Bachelor of Science in Nursing from West Liberty University.
Megan has also served nationally as a Board of Commissioners member for the National League for Nursing
Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation.

Medical Staff Representative
Sathish Jetty, MD is a physician leader at Adena Health with nearly three decades of clinical and
executive experience dedicated to improving care delivery and patient outcomes. In his leadership role,
Dr. Jetty provides strategic oversight across multiple areas of the organization, helping advance
quality, innovation, and patient-centered care.
A practicing pediatrician since 1997, Dr. Jetty has served the families of south central Ohio while also
holding numerous leadership positions throughout his career, including chief information officer, chief
medical information officer, chief quality officer, and chief of the Women and Children’s department.
His unique blend of clinical insight and operational expertise has played a key role in strengthening
care coordination and system-wide performance.
Dr. Jetty earned his Master of Healthcare Administration from Ohio University and is a Certified
Physician Executive through the American College of Physician Executives. He received his medical degree
from Gandhi Medical College in Hyderabad, India, and completed his pediatric residency and fellowship
training at the Medical University of Ohio. He also serves as an Associate Professor of Pediatrics at
the Ohio University Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine.
Dr. Jetty is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics and the American College of Physician
Executives and is fluent in English, Hindi, and Telugu.

Emily Johnson, MD serves as chief medical officer for Adena Medical Group and is a physician executive
with extensive experience in family medicine and rural health leadership. In her role, she partners with
clinical leaders to advance quality, provider engagement, and value-based care initiatives.
Dr. Johnson has held numerous leadership positions throughout her career, including chief of staff,
rural health clinic medical director, Adena Health board member, and chair of the quality evaluation
committee. She has led physician compensation redesign, Epic ambulatory implementation, and population
health initiatives that earned national recognition through the National Rural Accountable Care
Consortium.
She is a board-certified family medicine physician and a Fellow of the American Academy of Family
Physicians. Dr. Johnson earned her medical degree from Wright State University Boonshoft School of
Medicine and completed her residency at Riverside Methodist Hospital.

Shaheed Koury, MD serves as chief clinical and innovation officer at Adena Health, where he leads
clinical operations across the system and advances innovation initiatives focused on quality, safety,
and physician engagement.
With more than 25 years of experience as a physician executive, Dr. Koury has held senior leadership
roles with organizations including Quorum Health, Community Health Systems, and the University of
Kentucky. As president for clinical operations at Quorum Health, he oversaw medical affairs, nursing,
quality, safety, and ancillary services, leading enterprise-wide improvements in patient safety,
physician satisfaction, and operational performance.
Dr. Koury earned his medical degree from the University of Kentucky and completed his emergency medicine
residency at East Carolina University. He also holds an MBA in Healthcare Management and is a Fellow of
the American College of Emergency Physicians. He has served on multiple health care and technology
advisory boards and is a frequent national speaker on clinical transformation and innovation.

Josh McCoy serves as interim chief operating officer for acute and ancillary services and as vice
president of Adena’s west market, overseeing Adena Greenfield Medical Center and Adena Fayette Medical
Center. In this role, he is responsible for operational performance, strategic service development, and
community growth initiatives across multiple rural markets.
Since joining Adena in 2010, Josh has held a variety of leadership roles and has played a key role in
expanding access to care in west central Ohio. His leadership has supported new medical office
development, hospital expansion projects, and sustained financial growth, including a 22% increase in
combined hospital revenue. Facilities under his leadership have received multiple national quality and
patient experience awards.
Josh holds a bachelor’s degree in Organizational Leadership from Wilberforce University and a master’s
degree in Administrative Leadership from Central Michigan University. He also holds certifications in
change management and Lean Six Sigma.

Jim McManus serves as chief financial officer at Adena Health, overseeing financial operations across
hospitals, medical groups, and network platforms. His responsibilities include treasury and debt
financing, revenue cycle, supply chain, payer contracting, real estate, and overall financial strategy.
Prior to joining Adena, Jim served as system senior vice president and chief financial officer for
MultiCare Health System in Washington. His previous leadership experience includes CFO roles with Marin
General Hospital in California, St. Mary Medical Center, and senior finance positions with Tenet Health
and American Medical International.
Jim brings decades of health care finance leadership experience across both regional and national health
systems, with a strong focus on long-term financial sustainability and strategic growth.

Shane Rodabaugh serves as chief information and digital officer at Adena Health, where he leads
enterprise technology strategy, digital innovation, and information systems operations across the
organization. He brings more than 30 years of experience advancing technology-enabled transformation to
improve operational performance, cybersecurity readiness, and patient care delivery.
Prior to joining Adena, Shane served as system vice president of IT at Baptist Health in Louisville,
Kentucky. In that role, he led large-scale initiatives spanning cybersecurity governance, cloud
strategy, infrastructure modernization, Epic optimization, artificial intelligence adoption, and digital
health expansion. His leadership helped strengthen technical capabilities and position the organization
to meet evolving clinical and operational needs.
Earlier in his career, Shane held technology leadership roles with major national and global
organizations, including YUM! Brands, UPS Airlines, GE Appliances, and Trinity Dynamics, where he guided
enterprise IT strategy and operational excellence across complex environments. He currently serves on
the HIMSS Executive Experience Advisory Board and the Louisville IT Symposium Advisory Board.
Shane holds a Master of Business Administration and a Bachelor of Science in Information Systems from
Indiana Wesleyan University, as well as an Associate of Science in Computer Science from Sullivan
University.

Heather Sprague serves as chief human resources officer at Adena Health, leading system-wide strategies
focused on workforce engagement, culture, organizational development, and caregiver well-being. She has
more than 30 years of human resources experience across health care and other complex industries.
Prior to joining Adena in 2019, Heather held senior HR leadership roles within Trinity Health, including
serving as CHRO for Saint Alphonsus Health System in Idaho, Saint Agnes in California, and Mercy Health
in Michigan. Her current scope includes talent acquisition, workforce planning, total rewards, mission
integration, volunteer services, community partnerships, and executive oversight of the Adena Health
Foundation.
Heather holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and a master’s degree in Human Resources
and Organizational Development from Western Michigan University. She has been recognized nationally for
her leadership, including being named a finalist for HRO Today’s CHRO of the Year and serving as a
national conference speaker on caregiver well-being and organizational culture.
