For children with developmental challenges, we provide specialized care at the Adena Sports Medicine clinic and our Pediatric Rehabilitation Center. Our partnership with Nationwide Children’s Hospital ensures comprehensive, local care for your child.
At Adena Regional Medical Center in Chillicothe, we offer expert hospital care for children, including specialized services in cardiology, hematology, oncology, and gastroenterology. Our Pediatrics Unit is staffed with experienced pediatric professionals, and our facilities in Waverly, Circleville, Greenfield, and Jackson ensure we're always close by. Our pediatric rehabilitation programs provide one-on-one occupational, physical, and speech therapy for children from birth through age 18. Many children may need more than one therapy specialty, so our therapists work together as a team to set goals and create a care plan that targets your child’s unique needs. Because we see your child on a regular basis, we can also help your doctor identify potential issues sooner. We send updates to your child’s pediatrician and help coordinate referrals to other specialists as needed.
If your child is working with two or three of our therapists, we will do everything we can to schedule therapy appointments back-to-back so that you only have to come one day a week.
