Volunteers Needed at Adena Locations

Adena Health System is looking for volunteers for its medical centers in Chillicothe, Greenfield and Waverly, and for Adena Hospice.  Volunteers play an important role in the service Adena Health System provides to its patients and the community.

If you are interested in helping others in a healing environment, volunteering may be for you. Adena is currently looking for adults with excellent customer service skills for openings at the Information Desk and in the Gift Shop. Volunteers are also needed for patient transport, hospital mail delivery, and Adena Hospice.

Adena Hospice offers care for people with life-limiting illnesses in Ross, Pickaway, Hocking, Vinton, Jackson, Pike, Highland and Fayette counties. Its services are reliant on volunteers who perform a variety of services for the patient and their families or caregivers. Volunteer services may include anything from running errands, grocery shopping, mowing grass, or just being there to give the caregiver a much needed break.

Anyone over age 14 can serve as an Adena or Adena Hospice volunteer.  All volunteers are asked to provide at least four hours of service a month.
