Today, Adena Health System includes four hospitals in Chillicothe, Waverly, Greenfield and Washington Court House, as well as and six regional clinics - with a total of 341 beds. As the only health care provider in south central Ohio with da Vinci robotic surgery, Mako Robotic Surgery, and the most advanced MRI capabilities in the region, Adena is well-positioned to provide patients with advanced care that’s close to home.
Adena Regional Medical Center: A 266-bed inpatient facility in Chillicothe, Ohio, features an emergency department, diagnostic and treatment services, advanced surgical suites (with robotic surgery), intensive/cardiac care, medical office building and the Adena Health Pavilion, which includes outpatient surgery, physician offices and the Adena Sleep Center.
Adena Fayette Medical Center: As a 25-bed critical access hospital that has served the health needs of Fayette County for 70 years, our hospital features an emergency department with medical/surgical, diagnostic and treatment services, as well as family practice and specialty physicians.
Adena Greenfield Medical Center: A 25-bed inpatient facility in Greenfield, Ohio, features an emergency department, inpatient rehabilitation unit and medical/surgical, diagnostic and treatment services, as well as family practice and specialty physicians.
Adena Pike Medical Center: A 25-bed inpatient facility in Waverly, Ohio, features an emergency department, medical/surgical unit, rehabilitation and same-day surgery services.
Adena Cancer Center: Our state-of-the-art center offers patients close-to-home access to some of the most advanced technology in cancer care, enabling you to be seen by your specialist and receive treatments all in one convenient location.
Adena Health Centers: Located in Chillicothe and at regional sites in Circleville, Hillsboro, Jackson, Oak Hill, Washington Court House and Waverly, Ohio, Adena Health Centers include physician offices, diagnostic and treatment services and physical, occupational and speech therapies. Urgent care services are also available in Chillicothe, Hillsboro, Waverly, Jackson and Circleville.
Adena Home Care: Providing highly personalized, quality care to patients within our four service lines, we offer compassionate home health, hospice, home respiratory and home infusion services.
Adena Rehabilitation and Wellness Center: We provide physical, occupational, massage and industrial rehabilitation, orthopedics, sports medicine, women's health, vestibular, fibromyalgia, chronic pain programs, as well as industrial and specialized hand programs.
Adena Counseling Center: Our team offers a wide range of outpatient counseling services, including group, individual and family counseling. A variety of support groups also meet at the center.
Adena Orthopedic and Spine Institute: Our facility is home to nationally accredited orthopedics programs and specialized care for orthopedics, spine, sports medicine, neurology, podiatry and interventional pain management. Adena's joint replacement program, which uses the Mako robotic system, has been awarded Advanced Total Hip and Knee Replacement Certification from The Joint Commission and the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons. This recently opened 110,000 square foot facility includes 80 exam suites, six operating rooms and clinical operations for orthopedics, neurology, podiatry, sports medicine, spine and interventional pain management.
Off-Campus Physician Offices: A number of primary care physician offices are located throughout the region Adena serves.
The majority of the physicians on staff at Adena are employed through the Adena Medical Group (AMG). AMG includes approximately 200 physicians and 150 advanced practice providers, located at 28 practices throughout the nine-county service region. Adena attracts highly skilled and dedicated physicians, nurses, and staff representing many specialties.
Adena Healthcare Collaborative serves as the vehicle for Adena’s Accountable Care Offerings and their involvement in the Medicare Shared Saving Program.
The foundation is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Adena Health System. This nonprofit corporation functions primarily as a fundraising organization to support the health system and the communities it serves. The foundation is separately incorporated as tax-exempt under IRC 501(c)(3) and as a supporting organization under IRC 509(a)(3). The five functions of the foundation are to:
Serve as a focal point for charitable giving for health and health-related initiatives in a nine county region.
Translate gifts and resources from the health system to community benefit programs to improve health and wellness.
Safeguard the funds of donors who designate gifts to special programs or unique needs for healthcare in the area.
Conduct capital campaigns as directed to support construction and expansion of programs.
Provide accountability and stewardship for donors. The vision of the Foundation is to be a significant source of support for community benefit and for excellence and growth of the health system.
