The PACCAR Medical Education Center is a world class education facility located on the campus of Adena Regional Medical Center in Chillicothe, Ohio, that serves as a learning site and conference center for medical students, health system caregivers and community members.
The center opened in September 2008 and houses Adena Health's Medical Education, Continuing Education and the David Meade Massie Virtual Hospital.
Adena Health's Medical Education Department is headquartered at the PACCAR Medical Education Center. The department oversees the following medical student residency programs:
The center also houses Adena Health's continuing medical education services. This is where physicians and other clinical staff go to enhance their clinical knowledge and maintain their required medical education credentials.
The David Meade Massie Virtual Hospital, a best-in-class simulation lab that mimics real-life patient care situations in a safe environment, features cutting edge technology that is used in the training of our residents, medical students and other health professions. This simulation facility promotes a realistic, safe learning environment using simulators that mimic 70,000 human responses to medications, tests and treatments.
The PACCAR Medical Education Center is open Monday - Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 7 p.m.
