The Adena Health Foundation has awarded 62 local students with a total of $85,400 in scholarship funds for their pursuit of degrees in the field of healthcare. Those receiving scholarships include 16 returning students and 46 new recipients. Since 2002, The Adena Health Foundation has awarded more than a half-million dollars in scholarship funds to students living in Adena’s 12-county service area.
“Adena’s education-based mission propels us to invest in the future of healthcare for our community,” said Ralph Metzger, Executive Director, Adena Health Foundation. “The Adena Health Foundation scholarships are made possible thanks to generous donors who share Adena’s vision to do our best to nurture the talent of future caregivers.”
The Adena Health Foundation scholarships are made possible by the fundraising efforts of the Volunteer Advisory Council of Adena, The Women’s Board of Adena, and generous contributions to a dozen endowments and funds that support healthcare education.
Students working toward degrees in healthcare fields may apply for the scholarships in the spring of each year.
