After a brush fire on his farm left him with severe burns, Lamar needed intensive physical, occupational, and speech therapy to get his life back. He found it — close to home. After three months with Adena Fayette Medical Center’s inpatient rehab team and six months of outpatient care, Lamar was able to rebuild strength, relearn movement, and reclaim his independence. Now back home with his wife, Lamar is embracing “semi-retirement.” Lamar is one of the many faces of our patients in the community we call home.
