Adena is a Safe Sleep Hospital

Whatever age or stage your child is going through, Adena Health System  has primary care physicians and advanced practice providers (APPs) - both family and pediatrics- conveniently located throughout—both family practice physicians and pediatricians—conveniently located throughout nine counties in south Central Ohio to help keep them healthy. From infant immunizations and checkups to school physicals and information about healthy choices, our pediatricians are your partners in raising happy, healthy kids.

If a sports injury has your kid sitting on the sidelines, Adena Sports Medicine is focused on getting them healthy and back in the game—without surgery whenever possible.

Our Pediatric Rehabilitation Center located at the Adena Pike Medical Center offers comprehensive rehabilitation in a large gross motor and sensory gym, along with two individualtreatment areas in a distraction-free environment. Children with developmental delays or who have been diagnosed with disorders, such as Down's Syndrome, benefit through the Rehabilitation Center.

At Adena Health System, we know kids, and we get to know your children. Whether your child is coping with diabetes, asthma, allergies, depression, appendicitis, or just growing pains, we’re here to help—in the doctor’s office, in the hospital, or during the middle of the night.

Advanced Certification in Perinatal Care

Adena Regional Medical Center (ARMC) has earned The Joint Commission's Gold Seal of Approval® for Perinatal Care. This certification designates ARMC's Women and Children's program as a Center for Excellence in Perinatal Care, joining three other entities in Ohio to achieve this level of excellence. The achievement is the result of ARMC's continuous compliance within its performance standards, and is a symbol of quality that reflects a health care organization's commitment to providing safe and quality care for newborns and their mothers.
