Community Action Transit System (CATS)
To ulitize CATS, a trip request is needed. Trip requests are accepted between 6:30 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. on weekdays. Trip requests must be made at least 24 hours in advance. Reservations are not accepted on weekends or during evening hours. All reservations for next day service must be received by 2:00 p.m. To arrange a ride, contact CATS dispatch at (740) 835-8474.
Pike County Job and Family Services
Non-Emergency Transportation (NET) is a statewide program administered by the County Department of Job & Family Services for Medicaid eligible customers. NET provides transportation to and from Medicaid providers. Transportation authorization is in the form of gas vouchers or through a contracted transportation provider. You must give 5 working days’ notice in order to receive assistance for eligible appointments.
Who is eligible?
- You have a current Medicaid card for the same month as your appointment.
- Your appointment is for a service paid by Medicaid

∙- You have given a minimum of 5 working days’ notice of your appointment

Unity One is another transportation resource in Pike County. They can arrange for transportation to and from appointments that are approved by the Ohio Medicaid PASSPORT Waiver or assist you with making transport plans.
