Below are programs to get parents and guardians what they need to care for the youngest members of our communities, our children.
This program works to prevent infant sleep-related deaths by educating parents and caregivers on the importance of practicing safe sleep for their babies and by providing portable cribettes to families who cannot afford a safe place for their babies to sleep. If the county you need is not listed below, visit the Cribs for Kids' website. There is an interactive map there as crib distribution is regional. The OBB Program provides child safety seats and booster seats to eligible, low-income families in all Ohio counties. The overall goals of this program are to increase the availability of child safety seats for families who could not otherwise afford them and to increase the proper installation and use of child safety seats. In most locations, the parent or guardian must meet the income guidelines and attend a class on car seat safety. Contacts for the program in our service are:

This toolkit provides parents and caregivers with the information, suggested actions, and assistance they need to be empowered partners in their children’s vision and eye health, and to care for their own vision and eye health. This kit provides information about vision exams, financial assistance, and general eye health information in a patient-friendly format.
