Awards and Accolades

When you trust your health and that of your family to a hospital, clinic or urgent care, you should expect that you are receiving the highest-quality care possible.

Through the dedication of our caregivers, providers and administration at Adena, that expectation becomes a reality supported by numerous national awards, certifications and accreditations recognizing our commitment to our patients and the communities that we serve.

Here’s a quick rundown of some of those honors, including links when available to websites where you can compare Adena’s ratings against others:

Adena Regional Medical Center holds the highest overall rating given by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS). The Five Star ranking places Adena among the top hospitals in the state of Ohio. To arrive at the ranking, CMS looks at more than 50 measures involving mortality, safety of care, readmission rates, patient experience and timely and effective care. ARMC is among just 35 of Ohio’s 134 rated hospitals to receive a five-star rating. How does Adena rank against other similar hospitals across southern and central Ohio? See for yourself at www.medicare.gov.

  • For three years running, Adena Regional Medical Center has received Healthgrades’ America’s 250 Best Hospitals Award, America’s 50 Best Vascular Surgery Award, and America’s 100 Best Pulmonary Care Award, and for two consecutive years has received HealthGrades’ Critical Care Excellence Award.
