Knee pain

Anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) injury

A tear or sprain of the ACL, one of the main stabilizing ligaments in the knee, often caused by sudden stops or pivots.

Posterior cruciate ligament (PCL) injury

Damage to the ligament at the back of the knee, typically from direct impact or hyperextension.

Medial collateral ligament (MCL) injury

Stretching or tearing of the ligament on the inner side of the knee, often from a blow to the outer knee.

Lateral collateral ligament (LCL) injury
