Curriculum

 

Adena’s Psychiatry Residency training program is tailored to fulfill current ACGME Residency Training Standards for General Adult Psychiatry.

PGY I:

The PGY-I year is developed to solidify your identity as a physician. You will complete 13, 4-week long blocks consisting of:

Inpatient Psychiatry

6 blocks

Outpatient Primary Care

2 blocks

Inpatient Primary Care

2 blocks

Neurology

2 blocks

Elective

1 block

At-Home Call Responsibilities:

Shared responsibilities during inpatient psychiatry rotations at Adena. 

PGY II:

Second Year

The PGY-III year consists of 12 months of outpatient psychiatry and usually includes supervised clinical experience in both rural and intercity populations.
