To meet the growing need for care throughout south central and southern Ohio, Adena Health System today opens a new health center in Hillsboro. The nearly 8,500 square-foot facility offers patients access to a certified nurse practitioner for their primary care needs.
The new clinic is among a series of expansion projects that are delivering people throughout the region with access to quality healthcare within their hometowns. Earlier this year, Adena relocated its Circleville Health Center to a larger facility, providing greater access to primary and specialty care in that Pickaway County community. Additionally, the Health System opened a primary care clinic in Wellston (Jackson County) in December 2015.
“There are more than 500,000 people living in Adena’s 12-county service region,” said Adena President and CEO Mark Shuter. “By expanding our regional services, which now includes a new, primary care clinic in Hillsboro, Adena is striving to meet the health care needs of people living throughout the area. The Health System’s continued growth not only gives patients better access to care, it also strengthens Adena’s commitment to building healthy and thriving communities.”
The new, Adena Health Center – Hillsboro is located at 160 Roberts Lane, Hillsboro. The clinic offers patients convenient hours to meet their busy schedules. Hours of operation are Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday 7:30 a.m. - 5 p.m.; Wednesday 11 a.m. - 7p.m.; and Friday 8 a.m. - Noon. While currently closed on weekends, plans are underway to expand hours later this year for weekend appointments and urgent care services.
