Certified nurse midwives (CNM) are nurse practitioners who have earned advanced degrees and specialize in women’s health care, and Adena's CNMs offer a full suite of OB/GYN services. Adena Health's certified nurse midwives provide primary health care to women of all ages and at every stage of life. From puberty through menopause, our nurse midwives offer gynecology and family planning services, as well as preconception, pregnancy, childbirth, postpartum and newborn care. Adena CNMs also provide general gynecology care, such as performing annual exams, writing prescriptions, and offering nutritional counseling.
