It’s natural to feel sadness and grief as you cope with changes in body image, an interruption to your life plans and fear of what’s to come. In fact, according to the National Cancer Institute, depression affects one out of every four cancer patients.
Talking with other people who are experiencing the same struggles can make a difference. That’s why joining a support group is such an important part of your overall treatment plan.
Adena offers a variety of support groups to meet the needs of our patients and their family members. Some groups are led by our highly trained and caring staff, and others are led by professionals from the American Cancer Society.
Find a program that’s right for you and join us today.
