Free Lung Cancer Screening

For Qualified Individuals

  • Department of:
  • Adena Regional Medical Center

By Appointment Only.

To register please call 740-542-LUNG (5864)

This FREE service is recommended for individuals who:
• Are 55 – 74 years old
• Have a history of smoking at least one pack a day for 30 years or at least two packs a day for 15 years, and are a current smoker or someone who has quit within the past 15 years

Lung cancer is the leading cause of cancer-related deaths in the United States. But if caught in its earliest stages, there is a 4 in 5 chance for a cure. Smoking cessation is the single most important step smokers can take. Quitting smoking isn’t easy, but we’re here to help.

Our Patient Navigators will guide you through every step of the journey, and we will provide you with the education and resources you need to be successful. For those who are most at risk for lung cancer, Adena is offering free low-dose chest scan screenings.

This event will take place November 23rd from 8 a.m. - 1 p.m.
