If you have GI problems like heartburn, indigestion or ulcers, you’re not alone. According to the National Institutes of Health’s (NIH) National Digestive Diseases Information Clearinghouse, about 60 to 70 million people in the U.S. are affected by digestive diseases, resulting in about 13.5 million hospitalizations nationwide.

Adena Gastroenterology offers advanced diagnostic tools, including upper endoscopy, colonoscopy, capsule endoscopy and endoscopic ultrasound. Once we identify the problem, we work with patients to determine the best treatment plan, whether it be a prescription, surgery or, in many cases, a simple change in diet. We recognize and treat a wide variety of gastrointestinal conditions. Let us help you find a path back to feeling better and improved health.

At Adena, we’re taking extra precautions to ensure a safe environment for all patients, visitors and staff. If you are experiencing flu-like symptoms, including fever or cough, please call our COVID-19 Hotline at 740-542-SAFE (7233) and refrain from any in-office visits.

Another way we work to keep patients safe is by offering Virtual Visits, using phone and/or video, to allow patients the option of consultation from their homes. While virtual visits are safe and convenient, they don’t always serve as a complete replacement for an in-office visit.
