A love of nursing led Alicia Kammler to further her education and become a Certified Nurse Practitioner.  Currently Ms. Kammler is practicing family medicine with Adena Jackson Family Practice and Pediatrics, A Department of Adena Reginal Medical Center, in Oak Hill, Ohio.  The feeling of being valued – along with a convenient location -- leads patients to seek care from Ms. Kammler and the Adena Jackson Family Practice  clinic.  Ms. Kammler treats patients the way she would like to be treated, thus making them part of her bigger family.  Family medicine gives Ms. Kammler the opportunity to work with patients of all ages, from birth to the elderly. 

Adena Family Medicine – Oak Hill offers convenient care with same-day appointments.  They take pride in providing the community with quality family health services.  Most importantly, Ms. Kammler lets her patients know that she cares about and listens to them, which is a basic human need in her opinion.  Ms. Kammler takes a personal interest in all her patients and their needs. She grew up in southern Ohio and enjoys caring for her community.

Adena Family Medicine – Oak Hill participated in the Ohio Department of Health Patient Centered Medical Home Pilot Study.  The Medical Home Model of Care is designed to improve health outcomes, enhance patient experience and facilitate care partnerships between patients and healthcare providers.

Ms. Kammler is the 2010 recipient of Adena Cameo of Caring Award.  This award recognizes nurses who make a difference in the lives of patients and their families.
