Adena Family Medicine and Dr. Kittaka are actively embracing the Patient Centered Medical Home Model which is a team approach to care led by a family physician to provide ongoing, coordinated care for a lifetime in order to maximize a patient’s health.
Dr. Kittaka knows when he has made a difference in a patient’s life by the look on his or her face. As a family medicine doctor, he is rewarded by good outcomes for patients. He also understands that some health issues can be a struggle for patients and knows his job is to connect with them on a personal level so that he can support them in whatever way is needed.
Dr. Kittaka and Adena Family Medicine - Waverly strive to offer high quality care for their patients. Dr. Kittaka seeks to excel and is always looking for ways to improve patient care. Dr. Kittaka cares for patients of all ages and often cares for entire families from this southern Ohio community. He provides all types of primary care from annual physicals, simple fracture care, skin biopsies and excisions as well as treating common illnesses, such as colds and flu, or helping to manage chronic diseases, such as diabetes and high cholesterol.
Dr. Kittaka is an avid 5K and 10K runner (his longest run was 31 miles in the hills of West Virginia) who uses his experience and knowledge to keep athletes healthy.
