CIRCLEVILLE (Nov. 6, 2017) – Adena Family Medicine – Circleville is pleased to welcome Dr. Elizabeth Cordial. A primary care provider, Dr. Cordial is a Pickaway County native.
“I grew up here, and I’m a graduate of Logan Elm High School,” she said. “I know the culture here, I know the people here and I am very excited to be back to care for them.”
From age five, Dr. Cordial knew one day she would be a doctor. “I was always interested in science and medicine. However, I had no idea what that looked like until I was 17 and began volunteering as an EMT for the Clearcreek Township Fire Department,” she said.
Dr. Cordial earned her medical degree from Wright State University in Dayton, and completed her residency at Marshall University in Huntington, West Virginia. As a primary care physician, she is seeing patients of all ages.
“I am fascinated with the idea that at some point I can take care of three to four generations of a family at once,” said Dr. Cordial. “I am already seeing grandparents, parents and children of families here at Adena Family Medicine – Circleville.”
Dr. Cordial also focuses on preventative care with her patients. “Educating patients is one of the most important jobs a family physician has,” she added. “I believe creating manageable goals for my patients is the key to seeing success in their health, and ensuring they understand the importance of those goals in helping them to develop lifestyle changes and better habits.”
Dr. Cordial is now accepting new patients at Adena Family Medicine – Circleville, located at 140 Morris Road, Circleville. To schedule an appointment call 740-420-3000.
