- Treatment of work-related injuries and illnesses: Injuries include minor lacerations, fractures, and eye injuries. Adena Occupational Health also performs health exams, vaccinations, and treatment of minor illnesses, and provides programs to help stop smoking.
- Patient services: New injuries are seen on a walk-in basis. Follow-up exams are scheduled around patients’ schedules. Work limitations are clearly detailed to allow proper healing of injuries. Physical and occupational therapy is available. For patients with chronic pain, pain management is available.
- Employer services: Adena Occupational Health provides assistance with Workers’ Compensation paperwork; work site analysis; on-site minor medical care; and timely updates on employee visits and work limitations. Physicians can perform a medical review of employment-related drug screenings. Employment-related exams and aviation- related FAA exams also are available.
- State-of-the-art systems: A computerized injury tracking system documents all injuries and illnesses, along with treatments, work limitations, and patient progress back to work.
