Our vision to create healthy, thriving communities begins by personally caring for each and every patient.
Part of making your visit as efficient and safe as possible is being properly prepared by following some simple guidelines.
We do our best to make your visit to Adena a pleasant and comfortable one. If you do a little preparation in advance, you play an important role in making that happen. There are some things you should bring along and some guidelines you should follow that help us out.
How to pack for your visit.
Please only bring personal items that you will need during your hospital stay such as a robe or reading material. In addition, a complete medication listing is always helpful for your caregivers. Please note that the hospital is not responsible for personal items that are lost. Items such as jewelry, electronic devices or valuable items such as large amounts of cash, wallets or purses, are best left with a family member or friend.
Every patient of the Adena Health System has the right to expect safe, high quality care at all times. In order to provide the safest care possible, healthcare providers and patients must work together as a team. By staying true to this belief, Adena has been recognized nationally for our patient safety initiatives.
We are also a strong supporter of the Speak Up campaign, which urges patients to speak up if there are questions or concerns with the care they or a loved one are receiving.
