Adena Health System offers a number of opportunities for employees to grow professionally through a wide variety of education and training initiatives.
NACO is a two-day corporate orientation and introduction to Adena’s unique culture. During orientation, Caregivers are engaged in discussion and interaction with one another. This program provides caregivers the opportunity to better understand our culture, values, strategy, and expectations.
This three-course series covers the essentials of leadership at Adena. Through this engaging and interactive program, Adena leaders learn core skills needed to lead change, coach and develop others, and crucial conversations.
This program provides our caregivers with the tools and training needed to provide safe and effective patient care.
The Best Program is an 8-month emerging leadership program designed for individuals who are interested in exploring their management and leadership potential. The BEST program introduces high potential and high performing caregivers to essential leadership skills and provides mentoring by advanced and experienced leaders.
The Medical Assistant certification program is a partnership between Adena and Pickaway-Ross Career and Technology Center. The program is taught by Pickaway-Ross instructors at the PACCAR Medical Education Center on the ARMC campus. It takes seven months to complete, and as students approach graduation, they are placed into the Adena Medical Group (AMG) clinical float pool as a full-time Medical Assistant.
Adena offers a great opportunity for nurses who are wishing to pursue a Family, Acute Care or Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner MSN paths. The RN to APRN Program is an affiliation with Adena and Ohio University.
