Certified Nurse Practitioners (CNPs) are registered nurses who are trained through advanced education, usually a Master’s Degree, along with clinical training to provide preventive and acute health care services to individuals of all ages. They are qualified to diagnose medical problems, order treatments, prescribe medications, and make referrals for a wide range of acute and chronic medical conditions.
At Adena, CNPs can often serve as a patient's primary health care provider but can also specialize in areas such as cardiology, orthopedics, oncology, pain management, OB/GYN and more. They promote a comprehensive approach to health care and emphasize the overall health and wellness of their patients.
