Practicing for more than 20 years as a family physician in Greenfield, Ohio, Dr. Richard Mizer with Adena Family Medicine - Greenfield has been a family physician to many generations of families. As a primary care physician, Dr. Mizer has provided excellent, local, personal focused care for patients from newborns through seniors. This care includes inpatient care in Adena Greenfield Medical Center to help assure continuity of care.  Dr. Mizer also admits patients to the local nursing home and assists in hospice care and even provides house calls to those patients who are homebound.

Dr. Mizer has been delivering babies for 24 years.  Community activities, such as theater, football in the fall and basketball in the winter, allow Dr. Mizer the joy of seeing the babies he has delivered grow up and have families of their own. 

Dr. Mizer enjoys being in the same community in which he practices medicine. He loves family medicine and spending time with his patients.  Raised on a dairy farm in rural eastern Ohio, Dr. Mizer has a bond with small communities and an understanding that some things should not be rushed.  He prides himself on spending time listening to his patients, which allows him to provide very personal and customized care.
