Event Description

Adena Women and Children's Unit welcomes new siblings into the world every day! All siblings-to-be are invited to a fun, free and informative class.

"I Can Help!" sibling class is for siblings-to-be between the ages of 3 and 10 years old. Siblings and parents interact together throughout the class. Siblings will have fun learning about what to expect from their new baby brother or sister, how to hold a new baby, and that they will still be a very important part of the family after the baby arrives. Siblings will tour the Women and Children's Unit, see where their baby will be born, and where Mommy will stay after the baby is born. We hope to make our siblings-to-be comfortable so that they feel at home here when it is time for them to become super siblings! "I Can Help!" is held the first Saturday of every month from 11:00 am to 12:00 Noon in the Shawnee Room located next to the Women and Children's Unit.

Registration is required. Please call 740-779-8688 Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm.
