Event Description

Adena Women and Children's Unit invites expecting parents to a very informative class that will prepare you for your pregnancy journey and your labor and delivery experience.

Many topics are discussed such as taking care of mom during and after delivery, how to get your home ready for mom and baby, your prenatal lab work, body changes, pre-term labor signs and symptoms, induction of labor, expectations in labor and delivery, c-section risks, pain control and options available during labor, postpartum depression, and feeding your newborn. Designed not only for the mother, this class provides helpful tips for the father as well.

"Child-Birth Ready" is held the third Tuesday of the month from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Come and get ready for your delivery day!

Registration is required. Please call 740-779-8688 Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm.
