One of Adena’s many missions is to provide cutting edge health care to the women of Southern and Southeastern Ohio.
The original staff of Adena Health System, four women volunteers, created the hospital out of concern for the health of their community. Their spirit shines on in our Women’s and Children’s Center, designed to meet the unique emotional and physical needs of women during every life stage.
The scope of advanced services and programs Adena offers are wide-ranging and include wellness and prevention programs, maternity/delivery, comprehensive breast care, oncology, cardiac care, nutrition counseling, pelvic rehabilitation, urodynamics and more.
