Looking ahead - to tomorrow and all of the days thereafter - is a natural human trait.
Who has not wondered what the future holds for them? For their families, community,
future generations? Anticipating the future is an important part of the work for the doctors,
nurses and planners of Adena Health System. It is a journey from the reality of today to
the possibility of tomorrow that challenges us.
The Adena Health Foundation is the fund-raising and grant-making organization for
Adena Health System. The Foundation provides essential financial support for programs
and services provided by Adena Health System. Over the past years, the generous
contributions of future-minded individuals have helped:
- Provide life-saving cancer treatments by supporting the purchase and installation
of a Linear Accelerator.
- Ensure that women without insurance or financial resources have access to the
prenatal, obstetrical and gynecological care they need to ensure their own health
as well as the health of their babies.
- Purchase high-tech equipment including the spiral CT scanner, fetal heart monitors
and state-of-the-art instruments used in surgery.
- Support renovations to Adena Regional Medical Center's Maternity Unit and Nurseries.
- Build a state-of-the-art intensive care unit and surgical unit, ensuring access to the
highest levels of care here in the community.
