When you’re caught off guard by a sudden and serious accident, injury, or health condition, it’s natural to feel uncertain and scared. But it’s important to call 9-1-1 or seek emergency treatment as soon as possible. Our "fast track" approach to care helps us see patients twice as fast as other ERs across the country.
Once you’re in our treatment area, a physician or physician assistant will diagnose your illness or injury. This may require tests such as an X-ray or CT scan. Your length of stay will depend on your diagnosis and treatment. In some cases, such as heart attacks and strokes, you’ll be admitted to the hospital for immediate care.
